It is with great pleasure that I summarize and present to you the progress and achievements of the school in brief. The school has once again excellent not only in Academics but also in co-curricular and extra – curricular activities.
I take great delight in welcoming all of you on this very special occasion of our annual day 2022.
I feel really Honoured to present the annual report of our school.
Like previous years, this was equally the year of achievement in Academics and Co-curricular activities, sport. We are proud of our students and teachers along with parents who strive hard to achieve beyond expectation. We have focused on the holistic development of the students.
We have always been committed to create an environment in the school which help the young minds to blossom & provide a platform for individual thinking and holistic development of the child’s personality.
You don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great. Rightly said.
Academics : Achieving academics excellence is the heart of the endeavor of all educators & academic institutions. We are proud to acknowledge the we had good result.
I proudly place before you the achievement of our students and progress of our school. Where all the staff is committed, dedicated.
The whole purpose of education is to turn mirror into windows. We are happy to share this news that our students of XII & X appeared in 2021-2022 board examination passed with flying colour.
We achieved 100% results in both. In class Xth Kartik Gurung scored 97%, Aisha Bangwal 96.6%, Astha Yadav scored 96.2%, Keshave scored 96.2%, Ankush Lakehera 96.2% and in class 12th Anamika Rawat scored 93%, Abhay Dhasmana 92, Ishika Sharma 90.2 % and Mansi Sharma 90%.
Class Xiith 16 students scored more than 80%, 34 students scored more than 70%, in 10th around 12 students scored more than 90%, 24 students scored more than 80% and 46 students scored more than 70%.
Not only in academics our students are proving them in co curricular activities also, our students Manvi aswal, Tejasvi tarar and Abhay lama participated in National heritage quiz and got selected in regional level, thousand of the students of region particaipated in this activity but only 30 teams got selected, our was one of them. We also participated in MUN held in DSB.
If we talk about Inter -School Events & competitions our students made us proud. Our student Gyatri Chauhan of class X Won first prize in extempore competition. held in N.D.S., where around 14 school participated, Rajdeep of class xii also got first prize in Veer Gatha competition in N.D.S. where around 16 schools were participating, winning first prizes among 16 school. In really a matter all pride for all of us.
In different competitions like debate, poem recitation, painting, rangoli etc. in Bhagirathi Vidhalya Haripur Kalan, around 30 school participated, our students bagged 27 trophies, 11 first prize, 9 second prize and 7 third prize.
In maduban Ashram, on the occasion of Janamashtmi our students participated in different competitions like singing, dancing, role play, paintings etc. and bagged around 50 prizes, and made us proud again, in 2018 and 19 also we were the overall winner there.
We also hosted Hasya Kavita pratiyogita where 13 schools of Rishikesh participated.
Inter House Competitions
Throughout the session we conducted many activities among them there are competition, English elocution, stone painting, rangoli competions etc.
We also celebrated all the festivals and important days with our students.
Sports Achievements
Pankaj Yadav of class 11th won gold medal in bad Minton singles and double both in khel Mahakumbh organised by Yuva Kalyan vibhag , our children went to Palghar Maharashtra to take part in tug of war at national level organise by Uttarakhand association, our basketball team of girls got selected for state level after defeating four teams, and played excellently in state also and reached in semi-final there, our volleyball teams both girls and boys participated in different interschool competitions held in horizon school OSN school, and performed very well there.
We also conduct yoga class for all of our students time to time.
Many inter house sports events and competitions were also conducted in school throughout the session where many of the students took part in kabaddi, kho kho, basket ball, volleyball badminton etc.
Hub of learning ; As DSB is the lead school and conducted many activities and our students did exceptionally well.
Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav was organized from August 21 to October 22, for all the classes from primary to senior secondary level, activities like poster making, role play of freedom fighters veer gatha and story telling etc. were organized.
CBSE’s training session online and offline were attended by many of our teachers on different topics like happy classrooms, value education, classroom management and subject wise training.
In the field of health and hygiene, our school did a lot, with the help of medical department we set up medical camp of eye check of our students, oral hygiene and health check up, corona vaccine for both the doses, deworming tablets were also distributed all the students.
For mental health of our students we use to take their counselling sessions throughout the year.
